This page explains what data we collect through vacanzerovigno.it, why we collect it and what you can ask us. It describes what the site actually does: there are no profiling cookies, no statistics and no advertising.

Who processes the data

The data controller is WEB HOUSE CONSULTING d.o.o., Ulica Centener 68, 52210 Rovinj, Croatia — OIB 66274095279, MB 02357283.

For anything concerning your data, write to info@vacanzerovigno.it. We answer ourselves, with no intermediary.

What we collect

From the availability form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, arrival and departure dates, number of guests, the property the enquiry refers to, and whatever you write in the notes.

From the owners' form: name, email, phone, details of the house you are proposing and your notes.

Technical data: with every enquiry we record the IP address it was sent from and the date, to protect the form against automated submissions. The hosting provider also keeps server access logs under its own policy.

That is all. There is no account area, no registration and no profiling.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

To answer your enquiry and, if it leads to a booking, to handle the steps before it: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

To protect the site from automated submissions and abuse: Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a working service.

To comply with legal obligations once an enquiry becomes a stay: registration of guests in the eVisitor system, tax and accounting duties. Article 6(1)(c).

When the house is not ours

Vacanze Rovigno also publishes properties belonging to other owners. If your enquiry concerns one of those houses, we forward your details to the owner, because the contract is concluded with them: that is precisely why you wrote to us.

From that point the owner processes your data as an independent controller, under their own notice. On request we will tell you who your message was forwarded to.

Who else sees the data

Our hosting and email provider, which hosts the site and the mailboxes, acting as a processor.

We do not sell, pass on or exchange your data with anyone else, and we do not use it to send you marketing you did not ask for.

Transfers outside the European Union

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When you open a page, your IP address is therefore disclosed to Google, which is based in the United States. It is the only third-party connection in the site.

There are no embedded maps, videos, social buttons or analytics tools.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere: twenty-four months, then deleted from the mailbox and the archive.

Enquiries that become a stay: for the duration of the relationship and then for the periods required by tax and accounting law.

Owners' proposals: twenty-four months if nothing follows; for the duration of the agreement if the house is published.

What you can ask us

You have the right to know what data we hold, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object, and to receive it in a readable format to take elsewhere. These are Articles 15 to 22 GDPR.

Write to info@vacanzerovigno.it: we reply within thirty days, at no cost.

If you believe your data is being mishandled, you may complain to the Croatian supervisory authority — AZOP, Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb — or to the authority of the country where you live.

Two things we do not do

We take no automated decisions about you and we do no profiling.

The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. Documents for minors staying with you are requested at check-in from the accompanying adult, for the eVisitor registration requirement.
